What can i say? Floorball camp was a bore yet fun. Bore as we the graduates aren't involved with the freshies, i.e. not being group leaders, yet fun because spending time with old pals are great.
When I came on day1, I actually found new people in SPFB. Those not there when I stopped going trainings arnd mid last year. Guys I mean. I dun noe the girls except few, who were freshies in last yr's camp and those of my batch.
Bo(coach) was nice. Sat beside me for dinner and asked when's NS and what I'm doing now. And telling me no need to work, just relax at home, saying i'll not regret it. And picking the grads, me, zaim, wan, zaki and farok to play for his line.
First night (lain mcm jer bunyi) was hard to sleep. As usual. Tossing and turning, not able to fall asleep. 2nd night was cool. Me and Syukor went Rock Climbing Club's party. Rock Climbers are a happening bunch of people. They did this performance using fire. Its called Poi.
The 3rd day(today), had the floorball telematch as usual. Joined in to play. Then after all is done, had a Friendly against Tampines East Knights. The club I went for ONE training with and was too lazy to go even tho they train at my doorstep. Lost 13-10. No goals from me, only assists. But yea I was feeling unmotivated because... just because.
The current year threes are asking me to come back. They miss me! AWWWW! haha. They say don't care about Bo. And I do feel like coming back. Just that SP is sooo far and saturday is soccer day. Its a dilemma see.
When I reached tampines, I sms-ed Syukor saying i miss the camp. And he replied "Rindu aku ke?".
Rindu Kau Buat Aper, Giler?! bahaha
Damn i'm bored now.

Oh Fatimah Gadis Ayu

Watching Miami Ink when your parents are around is sure to invite some cliches. Cliches are irritating. But among the cliches, mom said something that catches the attention. Due to me not getting any job and NS is still not calling, she jokingly said for me to work at a tattoo parlour.
Bleah. Singaporeans get tattoos for the wrong reasons. They don't get them because they are embracing the artwork, they get them to look tough and show off. And it is very irritating to see mini mats.
Anyway, mum asked me to help petik taugeh but I was busy with something else. Pops said "kalau fatimah(refering to females) dah tolong". I am so sick of him always saying that and so I said what I've always wanted to say.
That I don't like that attitude and he is not being clever (note the clever choice of not using the word stupid) in saying those words and is being stereotypical.
Guess what? He tought stereotypical is a 'perkataan bukan-bukan'. HAHA.
So I took the dictionary and told him the definition and said that he can't say what he said because not all girls are good and helps out and not all guys do not help out.
That he cannot say something like that because it would make people feel unappreciated.
That he must appreciate what I have done before and not just forget.
What not? If I have helped out with something, I'm his son. When I don't help, here comes angelic Fatimah smiling away sinisterly at my face.
I'm sick of being compared to this make-belief Fatimah.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I think we should never be too attached to something. Like your possession. I know I'm not the only one here that talks to things/objects/items. Rite?
Well... I talk to my soccer boots. Due to their condition, I keep telling them to 'hang in there'. Did I just used 'they' instead for 'it'? Well I bought new boots yesterday and I can't help but feel pity for my old ones. Like we have been through so much together. Damn. Dad told me to throw them away since I got new ones, but... I hear them crying. I feel like keeping them in a nice clear air-tight box and bring them whenever I play soccer. Ok I think I've lost my mind.
Those boots aren't the only thing I hold dearly. I have a whole cupboard of my childhood toys. Action figures, cars, guns, happy meal toys. Maybe they'll sell for hundreds in the future. But thats not the point. I just can't let go. But without me knowing, my parents would occasionally give one by one to my cousins.
I'm no scrooge, but from what I see, my cousins don't take care of their toys. They have feelings too you know. Ok fine, maybe not.
So anyway these are my new boots that i've been eyeing for so long. It was on $30 off at the shop I went. What luck. I love the blue. There's my name on one tongue and my sayang's name on the other. BAHAHA!

Anyway, do you know why Santa is always so merry?
Because he knows where all the bad girls live. That naughty bearded fatso, HoHoHo-ing all the way.

Whats the use of telling the truth when it breaks people apart?
I mean, whats the use of telling someone that you like them?
Cause there is only two possible outcome.
1) If the person likes you too, good for you
2) If the person does not, you probably won't hear from him/her again
That is just the way things go. Normally.
And lets say you ask someone of the opposite gender out. Maybe its a yes, maybe its a no. Maybe you won't get an answer at all. They might be thinking or even ask you,
"For what?" or
"Why?".
Takkan nak say,
"Makan tak kenyang, mandi tak lena, tidur tak basah. Eh salah. Makan tak kenyang, mandi tak basah, tidur tak lena. Siang malam I asyik pikir pasal you ajer. Sana sini I macam terpandang wajah you. You tau tak? I tak sanggup hidop lagi kalau tak jumpa you. Kalau you tanak jumpa i, i terjun tu singapore flyer. I misssssssssss you tersangat-sangatla."NAK KENER TEMPELENG?!

How dreams work is a mystery. They are just random thoughts. Like why did I dream I was a bikini salesman selling one to Jessica Alba? I mean come on, of all things, Jessica Alba?
And some nights ago, I had this dream about another random person I know. But equally famous as Jessica Alba. That is if Temasek Secondary is the world. And I guess our dream self is a reflection of how we aspire to be in real life. Because I was someone not shy to speak.
So back to the dream. We'll call the girl Jane Doe. Me, Jane Doe, Raudah (Sebok jer dekni) and this seriously unknown guy with a goatee, hang out together. Apparently we're in a same class in this stay-in school. Maybe its Xavier's Institute.
So one day we were just sitting down in the garden when a massive group of Minah Tudungs came running from all directions. And I went "
Alamak! Minah tudung! Cepat Taubat! Taubat!". And after laughing, we ran away. Because there was like an invasion or something.
I dunno where Raudah and the unknown guy (Who I think is having a crush on Jane in the dream) went but I was alone with Jane in this dark multi-storey carpark (probably). She was scared.
Jane: Luckily you're here.Me: You sure this is Shaiful *evil laugh*Jane: *Shrieks and terkedek-kedek away*Me: *Grabs her by the shoulder sides* Main-main jer laa *Gives irresistable smile*The sparkle from the smile turned the dark place bright I tell you.
Then it went to this sort of factory like setting. With hot steam and melted metal and such. We climbed the industrial steps and she stopped halfway, turned to me and said, "
Actually, I really like you. I dunno, Its like there's something in your eyes". What did i say? What did I say? I coolly said, "
I know, I get that alot *Gives irresistable smile*". MaK~!
Den tros ader 2 evil guys, who strangely enough look like the minions from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. You know, The Putty Patrol or whatshit. There was like 2 paths, they were in one and the other path was free. Tapi si Jane nie, nak jalan tmpt yg diorg ader pulak. Aku ada lah jerit untuk take the other route.
Terpaksalah aku fight. Hero lah katakan. Dah defeat the bad guy, save the heroine, what next? Enter lah the badut. Raudah and the unknown guy came running. No wait. They're not the badut. The Badut is... FARHAN! He was running with them. Datang bukan nak beri salam ker aper. Ader ker patut dia kata "
Wah Shai! Senyap-senyap kau dapat Jane ehh". THE END.
But you know what? Waking up from that dream was a disappointment. And the whole of that day I was thinking of Jane. Seriously, I miss her. The Jane in the dream I mean. Not the real Jane.

Went out with Shahera today. Makan Mac at Pasir Ris den pool at Mariney Paradey. Ouh wait. There's Fitri and Julie too =P. How many rounds of pool, then back to Pasir Ris.
Den Me and Fitri proceeded to the Tampines Police Complex and spent arnd more than 30mins (??) talking to the sentry guy. Just gaining some knowledge about what they do and stuff.
Saw a primary school friend there too. His younger sister was missing. Secondary 1. Went out the night before and POOF.
And how evil of us/me to make lame jokes behind his back. tsk3.
"Adik aku hilang. Aku letak dalam kocek abeh biler sampai rumah, aku check dah takde. Tercicir maner2 tah. Rupernyer kocek koyak daaaa~."Bloody insensitive us/me. Tobat2~.
Abes ah. What happened to Shaiful?
Dahlah smalam Sha kata "
Parents drive us crazy", aku tak kata "
Why? What happen?". Instead I said, "
My parents don't have driving license."
A: "Wah wah wah... Bole tahan"
B: "A'ah. Boleh tahan teksi and bus. mrt takyah tahan. Dia automatic stop"Ok whatever. Abang is not in singapore. He go A'Famosa with friends. That means I'm alone in my room. Which currently does not have langsir. Therefore I can see the dark outside. Adding to that, my bed is elevated. Hence, when I go up the bed, I can see the whole world through the window.
And the whole world can see me sleeping and changing. BAHAHA!

As days go by, I seem to get more and more irritated by my dad. Well he just comments on every single thing. Then I'll talk back at him, and he'll mumble to himself and then be silent. Then I'll feel bad and try to be nice. Its like one cycle.
Like today, the family were having lunch outside and I said I wanna buy something. We'll call that something 'X'.
Pops: Asyik2 nak beli 'X'.Me: Aper asyik2?! Get your facts right.Seriously, don't say what you don't know. The last time I bought one was 4yrs ago. And he's saying 'asyik'. Ugh! Brother bought 2 in the space of 2yrs and he doesn't say a thing.
And the worst thing is, I'll end up feeling bad. Guilt is powerful.
BUT, he'll comment on my hair, on the soccer site I was visiting, on my choice of food, me being at home, me not being at home, etc.
Ok any the way, I finally get hold of the computer. I diden have the chance to blog this:
2nd April HAPPY BIRTHDAY FATIN! Rock on in floorball you!
5th April HAPPY BIRTHDAY FITRI! Semoga NS Police! Amin.
9th April HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIDA! Shida rawks! :)
And also finally got to chat with my 23yr old friend again. Fun to talk to. NO its not the one who asked for my number.
Just Because...
[ 11:59 am ]
There's this astonishingly, astoundingly, fabulously, fantastically, incredibly, marvelously, miraculously, phenomenally, prodigiously, stupendously, unbelievably, wonderfully, wondrously cute girl working at Metro Paragon. But I didn't get her number. Damn! HAHAHA. Actually nothing cute there. Except me and Fitri Ayu.
__________
So the age old question of "Do you find me irritating psl asyik msg u?". Seriously, would a nice angel like me say "Yes"? Hahaha. No I will never. But in all honesty, the answer is "No". Why?
1. The messages will keep me out of boredom.
2. I don't get irritated by constant messages from girls. From guys... err...
3. The messages will make me smile sometimes. For whatever reason.
4. One rule, "Treat others the way you want others to treat you". Doesn't actually happen tho. But I'll still stick to it.
5. OUH Come on, you can't be worse than me. I mean, people have become victims to my msgs till they end up insane.
[ 12:13 am ]
I'm sure you've been in a situation where you really liked a woman, and you did everything "right"... but for some reason she just never felt attracted to you.
You called her often, took her to nice places, bought her gifts, and were a complete gentleman (translation, you didn't try to kiss her, gave her space, etc.)... but nothing seemed to cause her to like you for more than just a "friend".
And I'm sure you've been in a situation where a TOTALLY HOT female friend of yours was dating a complete jerk who was mean and abusive to her... and all she did was tell you about how badly he treats her... all the while you're sitting there and would do ANYTHING just to have a chance at dating her. Right?
What is going on here?
Why is it that when you're overly nice to a woman in the beginning, it just causes them to be less and less interested?
And why is it that jerky guys who mistreat women seem to get laid like Rock Stars, even though they are the WORST possible choice for an attractive woman?
This is a fascinating question to me.
In fact, I've spent the last several YEARS thinking about this and other related questions.
I can remember when I used to call women, take them out, and generally show them that I was VERY interested in them when I first met them. I was REALLY a "nice" guy.
And you can guess what happened. Exactly.
They would always be nice to me, say that they appreciated what I had done, and accept my calls.
But I never sensed that they felt any kind of attraction for me.
Something just never felt quite right.
I always felt this little tension... as if the woman KNEW that I was interested, but for some reason THAT VERY FACT was the thing that kept her from feeling the same in return.
It was as if the more I tried to get a woman to like me, the less she would.
IT JUST DIDN'T MAKE SENSE!
Why wouldn't a woman choose to like me when I was such a nice guy?
Was it my looks? Or the fact that I didn't make a lot of money? Or that I didn't have a nice car?
Well, I've since realized something.
Women don't CHOOSE at all who they are attracted to.
ATTRACTION ISN'T A CHOICE.Attraction is something that happens virtually on its own... WITHOUT ANY CONSCIOUS DECISION AT ALL.
Most people have a hard time accepting the idea that they're not in control of themselves.
I read in a marketing book that some experts estimate that over 95% of ALL decisions aren't made consciously.
In other words, less than 5% of all the "decisions" that people make were ALREADY MADE FOR THEM in their minds, and they're just trying to pretend that it was their idea!
Well, when it comes to women and ATTRACTION, things are no different.
Ask a woman why she's attracted to a certain guy, and she'll answer, "Oh, he's such a sweetheart" or "He's really a great guy" or whatever.
I personally believe that if you could get a woman to stop and think about it for a minute, the REAL answer would be something like "I have no frickin' idea whatsoever. I just feel an emotion that makes me crave being with him, and then I justify it in my mind so I can EXPLAIN it to myself and everyone else so I don't sound crazy."
Whoa.
That's heavy.
But if you take a look around, it's not NEARLY as heavy as REALITY. Think about all of the women you've known who were smart, attractive, and interesting. Now think about all of those women who dated abusive, insensitive losers who did nothing but take from them... and how the women just dealt with it and kept dating them.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?
Well, the answer is somewhat complex.
A combination of evolutionary pressures, cultural and religious programming, and the magical way the mind works creates a very unique and interesting puzzle.
But let me tell you one thing about this puzzle.
When you're first learning how to be successful with women and dating, you must put aside all of your past ideas and conditioning for awhile.
You have to pretend that you don't know ANYTHING about how women work... and play a little game.
Instead of doing what you THINK should work, try doing what ACTUALLY works.
When you have this mind set, you'll TRY different things, JUST TO SEE WHAT WORKS.
Instead of saying, "Oh, that won't work", just try it.
